Collector and Competition Calls
George Huffman made a variety of decorative and collector calls throughout his life. They were crafted with very unique designs and materials and were truly one of a kind. Most of the calls were submitted to NWTF competitions and ended up being donated or auctioned off. Very few of them remain in our possession.

George's personal Vibrating Tongue. The toungue, or playing surface of the call, has a major indentation worn into it from years of use.

Experimental Calls
Many of these calls were one-of-a-kind prototypes made with various types of wood & designs. Many years of trial and error led to the final products we manufacture today.

2005 all Walnut Box Call, featuring a side-angle paddle.
1998 One-Sided Box Call, featuring a poplar bottom and a walnut paddle. This is the fifth call of this kind.
2007 One-Sided Box Call, featuring an all-walnut call with a thin paddle.
1994 One-Piece Box Call featuring a walnut bottom with an handle and a walnut paddle.
2003 Long Box made with a walnut bottom and a poplar paddle, which can be interchanged with a cedar paddle.
Five-piece Box Call featuring a poplar bottom and machine-engraved wording on the paddle.
2007 One-Sided Box Call made with poplar as the base and a cedar paddle; featuring a story on top.
1999 Peach Mountain Box Call made with wood from an American Red Pine tree. Planted in 1971; the tree died in 1992. The call was made from the tree in 1999.
2007 Box Call featuring a cherry paddle with a wood burnt feather on top of a walnut base. George was also an amazing artist and was very skilled at woodburning.
